Information about the TPB Register

To help you make informed decisions when choosing a tax practitioner, the TPB maintains a public register. This register allows you to verify whether a BAS agent or tax agent is registered and locate practitioners in your area. It also includes details of higher-risk cases where the TPB has imposed significant sanctions on a practitioner. For more information on how to use the register, visit: tpb.gov.au/help-using-tpb-register

How to make a complaint

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us by email in the first instance. Where possible, your complaint will be reviewed by a Partner who was not involved in the matter in question. We will acknowledge your complaint via email, confirm our understanding of the issue, and outline our complaints handling process. We aim to resolve complaints within 14 days.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may lodge a complaint with the TPB using the link above. The TPB will acknowledge receipt of your complaint, conduct a review, and assess any risks. If you are dissatisfied with how the TPB handles your complaint, the same link also provides information about your review rights and where to seek further assistance.
